This note expands on the DFM vs EPC doctrine framing on the Technical Assessment landing page — specifically the fleet-wide operating-hours evidence behind the claim that "we report cumulative operating hours across the deployed fleet rather than facility-by-facility commissioning risk." It adds the specific evidence figure and a visual comparison; it does not restate the doctrine itself.
At the facility level, the honest answer is zero — nothing has reached Commercial Operations Date yet, anywhere. At the modular level, the honest answer is 1.8 million cumulative operating hours logged on core Regenesis™ modules — real operating and performance data, summed across deployed units, establishing known throughput today rather than only projecting it.
| Component / module class | Cumulative operating hours | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Core Regenesis™ MCR reactor trains (Gen 1, 915 MHz) | ≈1.1M hrs | Deployed commercial units, existing operating history prior to ACM composition |
| Microwave generator arrays (magnetron / waveguide assemblies) | ≈0.4M hrs | Vendor-supplied fielded-unit records, industrial ISM-band service |
| Downstream gas-cleanup / WGS / PSA train components | ≈0.3M hrs | Commercially available industrial unit operations, existing service history |
| Total, core Regenesis™ modules | ≈1.8M hrs | Summed across deployed units; component heritage, not integrated-system runtime |
Figures are design-basis aggregates from the engineering repository, pending confirmation against vendor fielded-unit records at ASI SIT. This is component-level operating history, not proof of the integrated ACM-1 system — see the risk-retirement comparison below.
Carbotura's first fully integrated ACM plant (FOAK) is under way in Pennsylvania, USA — 400 TPD growing to 2,000 TPD, first 100 TPD production block COD targeted Q4 2027–Q1 2028, expansion planned to begin approximately six months after successful COD and satisfaction of defined acceptance milestones (see the bankability verification pathway on the landing page). It uses the identical 100 TPD ACM modular design referenced throughout this response.
Beyond the fleet-wide operating-hours evidence disclosed in this note, additional proprietary internals of the ACM engineering model — per-unit fielded-service records, vendor datasheets, component-level failure/maintenance logs, and other restricted design internals — remain trade secrets of Carbotura, Inc. and are not disclosed at any stage of the counterparty's diligence, term-sheet execution, Cornerstone Round commitment, or subsequent commercial operation. Verification of the disclosed operating-hours evidence proceeds through independent third-party review under NDA, OEM guarantees, ASI System Integration Testing (SIT), commissioning, and CAFI Digital Triplet post-COD performance data. Disclosure level here is partner-safe; proprietary internals restricted in the source engineering system are excluded.
Figures presented are point-in-time as of the date of this page.
